25th Anniversary in Vegas Photo Album -- Page One
No more rehearsing, and hearsing a part... We know every part by heart!

These photos were taken at the convention for the 25th Anniversary of the Rocky
Horror Picture Show, held in Las Vegas, Nevada, in October 2000. Some were
taken on my camera (usually by me), a few were taken by Kristin Howe on a couple
of disposable cameras, and the rest were taken on Jeff Baker's new digital
camera. Page Ten has frames captured from VH-1's
coverage of the Con. As always, I suck at remembering names and placing them to
faces; so if any captions need to be added or corrected, just email me. (These
pages were designed under 1024x768 resolution.)
Cosmo's list of other
photo pages from the 25th...
The view from outside of our hotel in the Circus Circus. Note that there are
not as many touristy pictures of Vegas in this collection; both because I didn't
have a lot of time for touristy things and because I've already got plenty of
photos like that in my pages devoted to the 1998 Las Vegas RockyCon.
Can't sleep, clowns will eat me... The view inside our room. The clown
motif at the Circus Circus got annoying awfully fast -- long before we actually
arrived in Vegas, to be precise.
Rehearsal in the parking garage! Friday morning, the Castle Transylvanians do some
final practice on the Mary Popp-N-Furter preshow... Interrupted occasionally
by cars driving through, performed for the entertainment of various tourists
and hotel security personnel.
Sincere Lust's Rent
Horror Picture Show preshow, also Friday morning in the parking garage.
Enjoyed by four out of five Japanese tourists who can't speak English (or
drive).

The final run-throughs of the "Look What I Did To My Id" number for the Shock
Treatment tribute -- also the first time we did it with mirrors since 1998.

Left: Jeff and I being punished, and still squabbling
Right: The MGM Grand
Todd Douglass and Kristen Cooley jumping up and down on the bed... Obviously,
this was the sort of depravity Circus Circus was worried about!
A couple of shows we saw while we were in Vegas (after the Con was over, when we
had time): A Night At La Cage (a drag review hosted by an uncanny Joan
Rivers) and An Evening With George Carlin (pity he isn't funny
anymore)... Jeff and Lisa went to at least one other show (Siegried and Roy),
but I wasn't interested.
